「Total War: WARHAMMER III」のDLCパック「Gorbad Ironclaw」では、悪名高いオークの戦首長Gorbad Ironclawが、プレイアブルなレジェンダリーロードとして登場。さらに、大型キャンペーン「Immortal Empires」やカスタムバトルでは、新戦闘ユニット、ゲームプレイ機能、目標などが大量に追加されます。
オークの戦首長たちの中でも悪名高いGorbadが知る唯一の言語… それは戦争だ。種族の中でも珍しい頭脳と腕力の組み合わせによって、彼は「適切なる侵略」と呼ばれる発想の源となった。
キャンペーンの特徴：
- Da’ Plan：粘り強い戦略家であるGorbadは、手持ちの軍隊でさまざまなユニットを組み合わせ、アビリティ、アトリビュート、キャンペーンのパークなどの強力なシナジーボーナスをアンロックするなど、ユニークな戦略を実験する。どの戦術もチャレンジをクリアするごとにレベルが上がり、クリエイティブな軍隊の編制が奨励され、戦術思考がより有意義なものになる。
戦闘のプレイスタイル：
- 獰猛なウォーボアであるGnarlaの背に乗って戦いに赴くGorbadは、破壊的な突撃で敵の戦線を突破し、強力な斧「Morglor the Mangler」で近接戦闘を行う。部隊が近くにいるときに発動するアビリティ「Da Great Leader」では、近接攻撃と防御力が増加する。
新ユニット：
- Gorbadの「Waaagh!」で加わる新ユニットには、レジェンダリーヒーローSnagla Grobspit、さらにはSavage Orc Great Shaman、Night Goblin Big Boss、Black Orc (Axe & Shield)、Mangler Squiq、Colossal Squig、Arachnarok (Flinger)、Bolt Throwaなど多種多様な戦士がいる。
