Pakiet DLC „Sayl Niewierny” wprowadza podstępnego czarownika jako grywalnego legendarnego lorda w Imperiach Nieśmiertelnych i własnych bitwach. Sayl przewodzi swojej frakcji, Dolganom, z nowej prowincji z czterema regionami, Krańca Gór, i zwiększa swoją władzę dzięki kłamstwom i zdradzie.
Sayl zapewnił sobie władzę, manipulując swoim plemieniem tak, by przeprowadziło demoniczny rytuał, a następnie sabotując je i zmieniając swoich towarzyszy w Pomiot Chaosu, Paszczę Nocy, która stała się jego potwornym i bez reszty oddanym kompanem. W przeciwieństwie do innych Sayl nie skupia się na brutalnych atakach, lecz na intrygach, oszustwach i zdradzie.
Unikalna mechanika: Zdrady
Sayl może wybrać wrogą osadę i zacząć snuć w niej intrygi zwane Zdradami, tworząc ukryte dyplomatyczne więzi z jej liderem. Sukces zależy od zasobu Sayla – zaufania – które wzrasta, gdy ten wykonuje akcje budzące ufność i zmniejszające podejrzenia. Dzięki ukończeniu Zdrad można rozprzestrzeniać spaczenie, uszkadzać osady, kraść dobytek i przyzywać armie, które przejmą osady.
Unikalna mechanika: Mroczny rytuał
Sayl, poprzez mroczne obrzędy, poszukuje ostatecznej magicznej mocy. Budując ołtarze Chaosu i walcząc w ich pobliżu, gromadzi Tajemną Moc, która pochodzi przede wszystkim od zabitych magów. Przeprowadzanie rytuałów wiąże się z dylematami, wydarzeniami i bitwami, które w końcu doprowadzą do ostatniego Ołtarza Rytuału, gdzie na Sayla czeka ostateczne wyzwanie.
Nowe jednostki
Armia Sayla to mieszanka magii, potworności i stworów napędzanych zdradą. W skład jego wyjątkowych oddziałów wchodzą:
- Legendarny lord: Sayl Niewierny

- Legendarny bohater: Beorg Bjornhamr
- Bohater: Hegemon Fimirów
- Piechota walcząca w zwarciu: Grasanci Niedźwiedziołaków z toporami i tarczami oraz wielką bronią
