独特的“和风”世界观
故事舞台是被污秽覆盖的“祸福山”。本作中，不仅是山林景观，“神乐”与“面具”等日本文化以及在背景奏起的音乐等，均可让玩家体验到独特且充满讲究的“和风”氛围。
被污秽引来的“畏哭”
日落后，畏哭会从异界之门现身。拥有各种异常能力的畏哭于夜幕现身，纷纷朝巫女袭来。游戏总监的执着与创意融入了这些象征本作世界观的造型中。
爽快的“剑舞”动作
为了保护山之巫女“世代”，本作主人公“宗”会举刀挥舞，挺身对抗畏哭。不需惧怕畏哭种类繁多的攻击，以爽快的“剑舞”一一斩除吧！
动作与战略的融合
宗的战斗并不孤单，被赋予职业的村民也会提供协助。要赋予村民何种职业，又该配置在哪个位置？什么样的敌人可以交给村民，什么样的敌人需亲自举刀迎战？时刻变化的战况将考验玩家的“指挥能力”。
驱除鸟居的污秽，进行净化吧
如果能在天明之前顶住畏哭的攻势，并在白昼期间将世代引导至鸟居，就能通过她的“神乐”净化鸟居。夺回山村的和平吧！
