在此擴展包內容裡，LV-895 星球的荒野內進化出了一種神秘病原體，就連異形都難逃一劫。奮進號組員若想一探究竟這全新神秘威脅的根源，就必須前往未知之地面對可怕的新敵人。
玩家可以額外與最多兩名玩家或 AI 一同進入這四場戰役，前去探索充滿謎團的星球「LV-895」。在這款代表性《異形》宇宙遊戲內，透過第三人稱生存射擊遊戲設定，探索地表下的遺跡和洞穴中究竟藏了些什麼東西。
