這張資料片的重點在都市戰，增加了全新的巷道特色，包括：視線阻礙、間接傷亡機制，以及各式毀滅效果。但在參與都市戰前，請先評估風險與優勢－－爆炸、淹水等事件可能正等著你。《Urban Warfare》資料片帶來全新的都市挑戰、失落的科技捲土重來、新的 ‘Mechs、載具、遭遇與衝突，讓《BATTLETECH》的遊戲體驗更上一層樓。
遊戲特色：
都市戰－－‘Mech 從開放的自然地形移師到遼闊的都市化地區，在巷道搏鬥也帶來新的挑戰。都會生態區中的所有建築都能被摧毀，因此玩家可以隨時剷除阻礙視線的障礙物，或者找到聳立的石堆當作掩護。廢棄的易爆炸燃料卡車、被毀的冷卻交換器設施、故障的電子變壓器將能干擾瞄準系統，並大幅影響作戰。
電子作戰－－失落的科技捲土重來，並將永遠改變 31 世紀的作戰形態。配戴有電子反制措施（ECM）的 ‘Mechs 與附近的友軍不會受到敵方瞄準系統攻擊，並且免疫非直接攻擊。同時，配戴有主動探測器（Active Probe）的 ‘Mechs 可以揭露、定位並瞄準藏匿的敵方單位。
新增兩款 BattleMechs－－實驗性質的 Raven 1X 適合進行先進電子戰，加裝了整合 ECM 與主動探測器的輕型零件。Javelin 兼顧火力與速度，足以在近距離擊倒敵人。
三款敵方載具－－Tank 裝載各式武器，能迅速靈敏地應對各種距離的戰鬥；Packrat 是戰場輔助載具，裝有原型版本的 ECM；Rotunda 是偵查用的載具，裝有原型版本的主動探測器（Active Probe）。
新遭遇－－增加任務種類：「攻擊」與「防守」，玩法具有挑戰性：玩家必須派遣傭兵摧毀敵方基地，才能阻止不斷來襲的攻擊者，以免敵人攻佔雇主的基地。
