《Prison Architect: Second Chances》中改造及改過自新的相關功能可協助您的囚犯改進自己的行為，同時有機會縮短刑期，讓他們能有一個全新的開始。
主要特色
回歸改造：利用動物療法、與一般民眾會面，以及由已出獄的囚犯所領導的「解決衝突」課程等新計畫，來移除囚犯的負面特質，讓他們的行為有所改善。
良好行為：囚犯的刑期可能依據其行為表現而獲得減免或延長；再犯者現在有可能再度被送回監獄。玩家每讓一位囚犯改過自新就可以獲得獎勵；反之，每出現一位再犯者，玩家將會被罰款。
改善自我的空間：本來就有或已取得工作證書的囚犯可在由囚犯運作的房間 (包含麵包坊及餐廳) 內，擔任為囚犯和訪客服務的店員。
回歸社會：囚犯可以透過參與各項工作和訓練計畫累積工作經驗。
