《The Lord of the Rings: Gollum》的故事發生在與《魔戒現身™》中所描述的平行事件，是款刺激的冒險遊戲，也能有史詩般的互動體驗。你遊玩如謎難解的咕嚕，踏上危險重重的旅程，並了解到自己如何智取中土世界中力量最為強大的各個角色。
無人知曉的故事
他在多數人不敢提及的危險困境中存活了下來，受到一個渴望驅使，那就是再次掌握曾遭竊走的物品。雖然他的絕望旅程是 J.R.R. 托爾金創造出的中段故事劇情，但未曾有人鉅細靡遺地詳述情節。而史上頭一遭，終於能跟隨咕嚕無人知曉的故事：是一場完全忠於原著的體驗。從咕嚕逃離摩多山，也就是逃出索倫之口及惡魔蜘蛛屍羅之地，到勒苟拉斯之父——精靈國王瑟蘭督伊的地牢，他在這場不尋常的旅程中經歷了許多冒險和際遇。
