- 扮演大震旦的元伯，制定並執行擴及全世界的宏大計謀。
- 保衛震旦的是來自穹天山脈的偉大衛士，傳奇英雄守望者賽堂。
- 用6種追加單位來擴展陣容，並用3種新的精英部隊來強化兵力，包含瑪瑙天鴉、天宮獅和大月鳥。
玉龍元伯
外國人也許不承認，但是所有凡人都渴望控制，確切來說，是渴望受到控制。
玉龍元伯統治震旦的中央行省，負責領導天宮的術士。玉龍表面上是最高階官僚，但其實是一位才華橫溢的情治首長，他掌管著魏京城，進而司理震旦帝國的行政。他受到兄弟姊妹的喜愛，以幹練的手腕保障大震旦的福祉。
玉龍能在人與龍形之間變換，既可以是毀滅性的單一目標破壞者，也可以是操控光明系、陰系和天空系法術的強大施法者。化身神龍翱翔在戰場上空，將再強大的敵方單位也燒成灰燼，或是利用扭轉戰局的法術在地面上戰鬥。
震旦一如往常，屹立不搖。
操控國家
藉由治國機制，參與一場與眾不同的棋局。身為政治大師、皇帝的左右手和情治首長，元伯對國家的影響力相當深遠。憑藉這樣的力量，他可以對城鎮、軍隊甚至人物制定公開和隱密的政策，以盡可能符合帝國的需求。打擊城鎮腐蝕、一舉加速整個帝國的建設、製造外交僵局以自由穿越不睦的領土等等，手段不計其數。
不僅僅達到平衡，更要擁抱不諧，以此作為藉口，採取更嚴厲和極端的行動來完成您的大業，並計劃一系列行動，來確保最後塵埃落定之時回到有利於您的調和平衡。

強化羅盤
玉龍元伯應父親的要求制定了一項長達數百年的計畫，必須前往幾處關鍵地點建造占星轉達建築來強化翠玉羅盤，然後抵禦企圖瓦解震旦的蜥蜴人侵略，以防羅盤受損。
消滅他們，策劃勝利之路。
新單位
迎接充滿變化的世界，新增額外的奸奇、大震旦和基斯里夫單位。
以奸奇的穆塔利斯漩渦獸違逆自然，這種生物是怪物和魔法的可怕融合，由超乎一切理解的混沌之力所創造。牠為所到之處帶來純粹的魔法破壞，上演觸目驚心的暴力。
不需要羅盤就能找到加入震旦陣容的新成員。
守護獅是由天宮法師以玉石或黑玉打造而成的活雕像。對於尋求魔法加持的人來說，玉獅是巫術導體，能夠使用蘊藏於其身上的法術並發射火焰攻擊。而黑玉獅則相反，牠會反制法術，削弱任何可能傷害自己或周遭人員的魔法。
還有新的基斯里夫單位潛伏林中。
一種被許多人稱為「林中之物」的可怕生物，挾帶著巨大的體型和擊破步兵的能力來到基斯里夫的前線。如不阻止，這頭野獸會把敵軍像紙一樣撕裂，然後衝進樹林尋找掩護，接著再次現身重新發起攻勢。
